Sapientia Boutique Hotel is in Rua José Falcão, Coimbra, Portugal. It consists of three interconnected buildings, each with their own rooms and apartments, with a total of 22 rooms, lofts and junior suites. The hotel has an onsite restaurant called the “Tasca das Tias Camellas,” and a rooftop dining section. The rooftop offers panoramic views of the surrounding river, as well as the University Courtyard, University Tower, and Joanine Library. Optional leisure activities include Wine Hour at the historic University Tower, live music on the Rooftop, and a pre-packaged romantic evening. This package includes one-night stay in the Junior Suite, rooftop dining, and the lighting and launching of the “Balloon of Desires”.

Tasca das Tias Camellas - main restaurant centred around an old wooden bar, lovingly restored from 16th century architecture. It was named after a famous tavern (of the same name) that originated in Coimbra in the 19th century. The menu offers traditional Portuguese dishes including salads, soups, tapas (serving boards), starters, main courses, children’s dishes and desserts. Vegetarian options are available. Open for lunch and dinner.
