This tour pays tribute to the land of Israel’s incredibly rich and religious heritage offering the opportunity to visit many sites where miracles and biblical events occurred. The first night is spent in Tel Aviv, followed by 2 nights in Tiberias where you will get the opportunity to visit the site of Christ’s miracle the ‘feeding of the 5000’ and Mt Beatitude where He preached the ‘Sermon on the Mount’. Jerusalem will be your base for the remaining 4 nights, where highlights include walking the Via Dolorosa and visiting the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which houses both the traditional site of the Crucifixion and the Tomb of the Resurrection.

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, you will be met by our representative who will escort you to your transfer, so that you can depart for your hotel in Tel Aviv.

Begin your day with a visit to Jaffa for a wonderful walking tour of the pretty alleys of the old, fortified town. You will pass by the house of Simon the Tanner and appreciate the views from the hilltop. Driving north along the coastal road you will head to the archaeological ruins of Caesarea before visiting Megiddo, the place predicted to be the site of Armageddon in the New Testament’s Book of Revelations. Following your exploration of the ancient ruins you will continue to the Sea of Galilee, stopping at Cana to visit the Wedding Church, where Jesus performed his first miracle of turning water into wine. Overnight in Tiberias.

Start your day exploring sites on the North shore of the Sea of Galilee before heading towards Capernaum, the centre of Jesus’ ministry, and Tabgha, the site of Christ’s miracle of the 'Feeding of the 5,000', the Church of Multiplication with it's mosaic floor depicting a basket of loaves and two fishes and the Church of the Primacy of St Peter. Continue on to the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus preached the ‘Sermon on the Mount’ and where it is believed that he selected his twelve apostles. Next, you will ascend the Golan Heights to appreciate the panoramic views of the peaks of Mt. Hermon, the Golan plateau and the green pastoral Hula Valley. From there you will follow the River Jordan to visit Banias and the Yardenit Baptismal Site before returning to Tiberias for one more night.

Today you will sail along the Sea of Galilee (subject to weather conditions and additional fee) to experience how little this historic landscape has changed over the past two millennia. Following this, you will travel to Nazareth, where Jesus spent his childhood and the Church of Annunciation, built on the site where Christians believe the Archangel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary. You will also see Mary’s Well and Joseph’s Church. Your tour will continue to visit the ancient synagogue at Beit Alpha, located at the foot of the Gilboa Mountains and featuring one of the most stunning and best preserved mosaics in Israel. We will then drive through the Jordan Valley, passing by Jericho, before ascending through the Judean Mountains and back to your hotel in Jerusalem. Overnight stay in Jerusalem.

As you journey to the Dead Sea, explore the wondrous UNESCO World Heritage Site of Masada, spectacularly located on an isolated cliff in the Judean Desert. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans, to see the excavations, King Herod’s Palace, the synagogue & bathhouse. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. En route to the Dead Sea we will visit the site of the Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Almost 1,300 feet below sea level, the Dead Sea is the lowest point on the Earth's surface and, weather permitting, you will be able to 'float' in its famed salty, mineral rich waters. Return to Jerusalem for your overnight stay.

Your day will begin at the Israel museum’s Shrine of the Book featuring the famous Dead Sea Scrolls, then to the renovated model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem, dating back to the time of the Second Temple. Enjoy the picturesque village of Ein Karem, significant for being considered the birthplace of John the Baptist, before visiting Yad Vashem, the official memorial to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust, located at the foot of Mount Hertzl. Finally, we take a trip in to Bethlehem*, the birthplace of Jesus, to visit the Church of Nativity & Manger Square before returning to your hotel in Jerusalem for your overnight stay.

Enter through one of the gates of Jerusalem's walled Old City to visit the Western Wall and the actual site of the Second Temple, Temple Mount. You will be able to walk along the Via Dolorosa to Calvary and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, housing both the traditional site of the Crucifixion and the Tomb of the Resurrection, before we drive on to Mt. Zion to visit the Tomb of King David & the Room of the Last Supper. Appreciate the majestic panoramic views of Jerusalem from atop the Mount of Olives and visit the Garden of Gethsemane, where Judas betrayed Jesus. At the end of the day we will return to your hotel in Jerusalem.

Take a journey from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem to the Sheikh Hussein border crossing for entry procedures into Jordan. Your first stop is Jerash, the city of the Decapolis, where you will visit the colonnaded streets, the baths and the hill of the top Temple. Following this, you will drive to Amman for a panoramic city tour of Jordan’s capital. Overnight stay in Amman.

Drive to Mount Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land. You will also see the Jordan Valley, Jericho and the Dead Sea, before continuing to Wadi Musa, the modern village of Petra. You will enter the site and walk or ride on horseback to the Siq/Canyon. Here, you will visit the Treasury, the field of tombs, obelisks, the altar and get a view of the rock city. Overnight stay in Petra.

Following your breakfast, you will head to Wadi Rum, which amazed Lawrence of Arabia, driving through the impressive desert landscape on a jeep safari, to visit the Lawrence Spring and Khazali Canyon. From here, head north to Madaba, visiting the remains of the Byzantine church and its ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land and Jerusalem. Overnight in Amman.

After you have your breakfast, you will depart from your hotel, driving to the border to cross the Jordan River and drive back to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv. Note: The sequence of the tour & sites visited may be amended due to circumstances at the guide’s discretion.
